FZ16 Club Philippines-NORTHSIDE (North Luzon Chapter) was founded in February 18, 2012, recognized by the FZ16 Club Philippines, under S.E.C No. 201110558. It is formed and consisted of FZ16 owners mostly from the North of Metro Manila, to foster camaraderie and brotherhood to all YAMAHA FZ16 owners and enjoy the same passion of driving and riding the bike dubbed as "THE PRIDE OF THE STREETS".
The idea of a 'NORTHSIDE' first came into mind and conceptualized by Kristhian Yap, its first OIC-HEAD. Then it was conceived thru the support of its first Vice-OIC/HEAD, the ever fashionable Moto Drix. This conception was welcomed by Yorf Cap - its first official Marshall who was inclined to join the FZ16 Club Philippines main core group have the northside not established. This intention was conveyed to the Official Club's officers, and Pres. Danilo Cayabyab agreed on the plan, and so on it's first tambay/meet and greet, the Northside was met by representatives from the main group headed by Treas. Christopher Soltes, thru the effort of Ronnie Gabriel and Ariel Sanchez. To get at FZ owners, Yamaha 3s shops, particularly those in Cabanatuan City, Tarlac city and nearby areas were sought, ably lending their list of FZ owner/clients, to inform them of the objective to erect a North Group. The Northside was officially recognized on the month celebrating Yzone-Ortigas and FZ16 Club Phillippine's anniversaries (Feb 2012).. The first official meeting was held at UEMI-Tarlac Yamaha 3's where the first set of officers were elected, and was attended also by it's first far-flung rider attendee from the Summer Capital, in the person of Arvin Joel Pascua- the CAR coordinator....The meeting's first fruit is the NORTHSIDE's first official ride- THE ANNIVERSARY run to Dingalan, AURORA, in time for the 1st Anniversary of the FZ16 Club Philippines, attended by more than 60 riders, dubbed as "EAST, WEST, NORTH, SOUTH COMBINES". After the RUN, and the rest.....became history....
